Maria Pavlou Kalban is the founder of United Neighbors, a California coalition whose aim is to protect residential neighborhoods in Los Angeles by advocating for adding density to commercial corridors where there are large amounts of empty buildings and unused parking lots, in order to preserve mature existing fully developed single-family and multi-family neighborhoods.
