The Southeast Valley Community Plan Updates Team is hosting webinars this week! Join us to hear the latest on the project, and make your voice heard!
 
We are hosting three live webinars with Q&A to introduce and gather feedback on the draft land use concepts for the Ventura-Cahuenga Corridor in the Sherman Oaks, Studio City, and Cahuenga Pass neighborhoods. These concepts are the initial vision for how the corridor will grow and change over the next 20 years, and we want to hear from you. Your input will inform the changes proposed through the Community Plan Updates.

Metro invites you to attend a virtual community meeting where we’ll provide an update on the recently completed public scoping period, which was the first step in the environmental review process. We are finalizing the Scoping Summary Report and will release it prior the meeting where we will discuss its findings. We will also provide an update on the status of the environmental study, next steps, and respond to questions.  
 
Note: The Zoom webinar will open at 5:45pm and we will show the project video through twice as an overview/refresher of the project before the meeting begins at 6pm.

Come learn about the City Budget with the Neighborhood Council Budget Advocates in this free online virtual event.

Keynote speakers include Mayor Eric Garcetti, Chair of the City Council Budget and Finance Committee Paul Krekorian, and City Administrative Officer Matt Szabo.  Following the keynotes we will have a panel of experts from both inside and outside City Government in a lively discussion about which direction the City Budget should take given where we are today.

After our plenary session, join others from your area in our regional breakout sessions to discuss local budgetary needs and weigh in on what's important to your community.  Make your voice heard!

If you'd like to learn more prior to the event, you can find the Budget Advocates' 2022 White Paper and Budget Recommendations as well as our presentation at this year's Budget Hearing and past Budget Days on our website.
