The Parks Ad Hoc Committee of the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council recognizes our parks as our front yard in Sherman Oaks. They are an essential part of the quality of life in our community.

• The Committee will seek to maximize the use of our parks while maintaining good neighbor relations with those living immediately adjacent to them.
• The Committee will pursue ways to maintain and improve park equipment, facilities, programs and staffing.
• The Committee will foster relationships with public and private entities that control or provide funding for our parks and will monitor the collection and allocation of park funds and make recommendations regarding park fees, contracts and the dispersal of park funds.
• The Committee will develop relationships with public and private entities to provide new avenues of funding for our parks.
